DISTINGUISHED GENTLEMAN’S RIDE 2017 IS ROARING SUCCESS (DESPITE THE WEATHER)

The weather didn’t dampen dapper spirits at the Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride in Glasgow recently. ROX was thrilled to join riders in George Square on Sunday, September 24 to take part in the worldwide event which supports prostate cancer and men’s mental health in partnership with the Movember Foundation. Dressed to impress, participants rode into town on classic and vintage motorcycles with sponsorship from Zenith Watches and Triumph Motorcycles. From Sydney to New York an incredible 94,052 riders took part in the annual extravaganza millions of pounds for the good cause.

It was a week of diamonds and thrills for our ROX Edinburgh team as they attended two glistening events. Staff from the Assembly Rooms boutique kicked off their weekend a little early last week as they had the chance to check out The Ivy on the Square on Thursday ahead of its official opening on September 20th.

25TH HILTON FOUNDATION BALL – PUTTING THE FUN IN FUNDRAISING

Guests enjoyed an evening of glitz and glamour ay the 25th Hilton Foundation Ball. The annual event, held in Glasgow city centre’s Hilton Hotel on September 16, aimed to raise £25,000 for children’s charities across the city and Scotland’s central belt, with funds supporting organisations including Action for Children and NSPCC Scotland.

FERRARI 70TH ANNIVERSARY

The sun shone on Holyrood Palace as Ferrari fans flocked to the capital to mark the 70th anniversary of the Italian brand. Hosted by Graypaul Ferrari this special occasion was part of a calendar of events taking place across the globe. Showcasing some of Ferrari’s finest creations, owners, fans and enthusiasts gathered to celebrate this iconic milestone with the celebratory La Ferrari on display. ROX was delighted to attend on behalf of Ferrari’s Official timing partner Hublot for the event and join more than 70 Ferrari owners displaying their models at the bustling event.

On Monday we were thrilled to host the UK stop of the Hublot Golf Cup at the prestigious Archerfield Links. Guests enjoyed the warm weather and 18 holes on the Dirleton Links course, taking time to stop at The Hublot Experience and peruse a range of luxury Hublot timepieces.

ROX PRESENTS… FERRARI OWNERS CLUB CELEBRATIONS 2017

We were thrilled to join the Ferrari Owners Club GB to mark their 50th anniversary. The club marked the milestone with a special parade of more than 70 Ferrari cars across the Forth Road Bridge which was especially closed for the occasion. ROX was delighted to join the parade with the Hublot safety car leading the way across the bridge. As well as the procession, members had the chance to enjoy a sumptuous meal at Dundas Castle where they also perused a range of luxury watches at the ROX pop up shop.

On a beautiful Spring evening in Newcastle, we invited guests to our Monument Mall boutique for an intimate showcase of Tudors latest Baselworld 2017 models. Guests had a much anticipated first look at the iconic #BORNTODARE models that are devoted to the classic but reject the status quo.

Last week, we invited guests to celebrate the launch of Chopard at our flagship boutique in the Argyll Arcade. Guest enjoyed a champagne reception, followed by a catwalk showcasing the finest high jewellery from Chopard, fit for Cannes Film Festival.

ALAN SHEARER FOUNDATION BALL 2017

ROX & Hublot joined forces to support Alan Shearer’s Charity Ball. The fifth annual charity ball in support of the Alan Shearer Foundation - the dedicated fundraising arm for the Alan Shearer Centre – has raised £380,000, more than double last year’s figure, to help fund the pioneering facilities for disabled people at the Centre in Newcastle.
