THE LATEST FROM ZENITH
31st March 2018
Zenith has long been a brand to impress and inspire. With its red guiding star, it has continued to push the boundaries of watchmaking since founder Georges Favre-Jacot revolutionised the world of Haute Horlogerie in 1865. He was the first to unite all aspects of watchmaking under one roof, creating the concept of a Manufacture.
Over the years, Zenith has earned a reputation for creating some of the most accurate and respected timepieces in the world – most notably the El Primero. Unveiled in 1969 it was designed to measure accuracy to the nearest tenth of a second, thanks to the balance oscillating at a frequency of 36,000 vibrations per hour. And the brand has continued to create luxury timepieces that master the art of precision and style and Baselworld 2018 offered the perfect platform for Zenith to show off its latest models.
Since launching the brand in at the end of 2017 the team at ROX has been honoured to support this prestigious and historical brand and were honoured to see the video of the launch of the brand used on the big screen at the showcase.

ZENITH DEFY 21 WATCH REVIEW
The Zenith El Primero is steeped in horological history. However, while many may be familiar with the history of the El Primero they perhaps might not be quite as knowledgeable about the name Defy. The Defy was the original design that Zenith had around the time they moved into their manufacture in 1865 – it was actually spelt with an I back then and only changed to a y in 1969.
AN INNOVATIVE COLLABORATION
The return of an icon – Chris Chilton checks out the new Range Rover Velar and its partnership with Zenith’s El Primero collection.
