All Black – a simple concept first used by Hublot in 2006, and one that acts as the stimulus for some incredible creations. All the timepieces in the All Black collection employ the same monochrome theme, but there the similarities end, as there is such a variety of watches in the range.
Very few watchmakers could consider themselves as creative and as forward-looking as Hublot, and the Meca-10 is a perfect example of what Hublot do best. Designed as a celebration of technical construction, Hublot spent two years developing the incredible movement that is the centrepiece of the Meca-10. Designed as a celebration of mechanical construction the manual winding movement offers 10 days of power reserve, while the dial has been structured to show the balance wheel, mainspring and both numeric and physical power reserve indicators right on the face! This stunning timepiece is limited to 500 pieces, so come and speak to us soon!
As part of the Unico collection this luxury timepiece is powered by the in-house HUB1242 Unico chronograph movement, which offers 72 hours of power reserve. This is housed in the 45mm microblasted ceramic Unico case, which features the one-click strap change system. The Unico also features a skeletonised dial through which you can see an awful lot of detail, including the column wheel for the chonograph at 6 o’clock. The legibility is remarkably still excellent however, and the Unico really is a watch that can be worn and enjoyed.
The Spirit of Big Bang was the perfect development of Hublot’s family of watches, as it employs elements found in the other collections while also representing something entirely new. The case is a tonneau shape, and in this iteration is crafted from microblasted ceramic. It is also significantly curved, meaning the the whole timepiece hugs the wrist when worn. This also means that the sapphire crystal found on front and back is curved, and looks absolutely stunning! The movement in the Spirit of Big Bang is a Swiss made chronograph, offering 50 hours of power reserve.
LIMITED EDITION HUBLOT KING POWER ALAN SHEARER AUCTION
Teaming up with football legend Alan Shearer, Hublot has created a unique King Power timepiece. Limited to only two watches, one will be worn by Alan himself, while the other will be auctioned to raise funds for the Alan Shearer Foundation, which provides specialist care to people with complex disabilities.
