ONES TO WATCH: HUBLOT CLASSIC FUSION BLUE REVIEW

For those in search of a timeless luxury watch that masters the art of precision and style the Hublot Classic Fusion blue chronograph in 42mm promises to impress. Hublot really burst onto the haute horlogerie scene in 2005 with the Big Bang. A big, bold, sporty and chunky watch the Big Bang made waves across the industry, however, the brand realised fairly quickly that it wanted to do something a dressier – something a little sleeker – and they did that with the Classic Fusion.

As the range began to develop Hublot added more detail to the initial Classic Fusion models with the addition of the chronograph being one of the most important additions. The chronograph was a welcome addition to those looking for a little more complexity to the dial of their timepiece and played a vital role in showing watch fans that Hublot was a brand proud to champion the art of luxury watchmaking and craftsmanship.

Until recently the Hublot Classic Fusion chronograph was only available in a 45mm and for some gentleman that size was just a little bit too big on the wrist and for the ladies keen to don a chronograph the 45mm size was off-putting so the 42mm makes the perfect alternative.

The case of this watch is crafted in beautifully brushed and polished titanium, giving a nice contrast with the finish on the sides. The dial is Hublot’s satin sunray finish, with a beautiful amount of sparkle coming from it. Meanwhile, the blue hue of this timepiece is perfectly on trend and is complimented with an alligator strap. Now, this strap has rubber on the inside which is something you see a lot of in Hublot watches as it keeps the leather away from your skin and keeps the watch strap in the best possible condition for longer. This model also features a secure folding clasp.
