HUBLOT CLASSIC FUSION
WITH A TARTAN TOUCH
4th August 2017
Hublot has always been a brand proud to stand out against the crowd. It has boldly defied convention and pushed boundaries all in the name of innovation. It is this pioneering determination that has earned Hublot a reputation for its forward thinking approach to horology whilst remaining true to master craftsmanship of watch design.
And the Classic Fusion Italia Independent is perhaps one of the finest examples of just why Hublot is a force to be reckoned with. Created in partnership with Italia Independent and Lapo Elkann, the exclusive collection shines a spotlight on creativity and ingenuity. When looking at each of the pieces, there is no escaping the influence of Mr Elkann. Often described as the ‘world’s most elegant man’ his passion for both glamour and style is precisely what makes this collection tick.
A stand out piece from the Classic Fusion Italia Independent collection is this tartan treat. Just one of 50 limited edition timepieces, we believe the tartan fabric of this design captures the true essence of both Scottish spirit and style. Not a design for the wallflowers among us, it is a chronograph like no other. Featuring the Tartan Rubinacci strap and dial, the 45mm watch cuts a sporty figure on the wrist whilst remaining fashion forward. The black ceramic case with satin polish and finish frame the vivid fabric whilst staying true to Hublot’s undeniable look.
Just landed at ROX, the Hublot Classic Fusion Italia Independent is a celebration of the Art of Fusion. Visit our website today or visit our Edinburgh boutique to see this exclusive timepiece in all of its glory.
Of all the pieces released at SIHH 2017, nothing piqued our curiosity quite like the Hublot Big Bang Unico GMT. Timepieces with a GMT complication have always been among the most desirable, and the ability to display additional timezones has proved a useful feature.
Of all the wonderful pieces unveiled in Geneva this year very few made an impact quite like the newly reinvented Hublot Big Bang Sang Bleu collection. Building on their relationship with Maxime Buchi – founder of Sang Bleu – and the unprecedented success of the first collaborative effort, Hublot have this time released, not one, but three new timepieces sure to whet the appetite of watch lovers the world over!
In 1976 HRH The Prince of Wales had the idea to create a charity aimed at providing disadvantaged young people with access to jobs and education. When he left the Royal Navy that same year he used his severance pay to create the Prince’s trust, and 40 years on it has helped over 825,000 young people. Hublot have recognised the important work being carried out, and have identified the need to invest in future generations.
