Step aside crop tops there’s a new tiny must have in town. The bralet is everywhere this season, worn in several different ways. Over patterned shirts at Prada, under kimonos at Alberta Ferretti and long-line embellished bralets were paired with high-waisted trousers and Kristian Aadnevik.
Fine layers of sheer fabrics created ethereal beauty this season. For the ultra-feminine a mix of embroidery and embellishment at Valentino and Ralph & Russo, while at Coach and Alexander McQueen a rebellious look evolved pairing biker jackets and boots with sheer dresses and skirts.
Usually revered to an accessories palette, yellow’s overwhelming power of optimism and happiness dominated catwalks across SS17 presentations. Embrace a statement head-to-toe look or opt for subtle highlights in footwear and accessories. Don’t be afraid of a little sunshine in your life!
You could be mistaken for thinking that Parisian couture shows had come early with the volume of tulle gracing the SS17 catwalks. Light and elegant, designs from Molly Goddard to Dior glided along the runway in a mix of traditional sweetheart and contemporary designs.
