Do you have a lockdown routine?

As a family we’ve continued our morning routine as normal, getting up, dressed & ready for the day ahead. We have definitely spent more time together enjoying breakfast rather than it being rushed and consuming a lot of eggs!! Between home schooling my two kids and working from home the day certainly goes in quite fast.

How are you staying motivated in lockdown?

Keeping focused, busy and in a routine, learning new skills. Chatting to friends and family and keeping connected virtually.

What daily rituals have you adopted?

Home schooling has been the biggest change in our daily routine and it certainly has had its challenges. But we have found a rhythm that works for everyone and take each day as it comes. I’ve developed some new skills and enhanced others which Ive always wanted to do but maybe didn’t set aside the time. I love to bake and patter around the garden which has been a lot of fun with the kids something I will continue when things return to normal. It has certainly been a time to reflect and enjoy some of the more meaningful things in life.

What is your go to isolation uniform?

What I would wear normally at weekends has now been what I wear pretty much everyday; jeans, shirts and t shirts and a new found love for my cowboy boots that I’ve had for years!! Comfort is key with being in the house so much.

Why is it still important to you to wear jewellery while at home?

I’ve found it really important for my wellbeing to continue wearing makeup and jewellery as it gives you a sense of normality in these unusual times and a sense of feeling good about yourself – I’m still the same person as before lockdown and I didn’t want lose what’s important to me and is part of who I am.

What are you most looking forward to when this is all over?

Re grouping with family and friends; hugs!!! and of course the food, drink and energetic atmosphere when dining in our restaurants. We miss it all so much!
