How did you adjust to lockdown?

At first it was a little hard as it happened so quickly. However, as time has gone on, it has got easier. For me it helped to set up a daily structure that meant I could work at home.

Do you have a new routine as lockdown starts to ease?

Yes, I’ll be back at the studio more and I’ll be able to go to the flower market again which is amazing, I’ve missed both so much as that’s when I feel most creative and inspired. However, I’ll still be sticking to working from home as much as I can and protecting my team by following Covid19 guidelines.

How are you staying motivated as we spend more time working from home?

By staying active, I feel starting my day with a walk or run helps me to focus on my objectives and tasks for the rest of the day. I’ve also been able to spend more time on social media interacting with our customers. I love seeing how people style our flowers in their homes and I also like speaking to our followers to find out what colours they want us to use or flowers they’d like to see in our designs. This helps to inspire me for new products and projects. So having more time to talk to our community has been a real positive.

What new daily rituals have you adopted?

A lot more self-care! I’ve found myself taking a bubble bath on a Wednesday more than once during lockdown. And why not!

What is your go to WFM / lockdown uniform?

Joggers, sweatshirt, reebok socks, my slip on checkered vans, and hair tied back in a low pony. Comfort mixed with pieces that spark a little joy.

Why is everyday jewellery important to you?

Every day I wear my diamond cross necklace and the watch I received for my 21st birthday. They make me feel good to go and if I forget to put them on I feel like I’m missing something.

What are you most looking forward to when this is all over?

Meeting friends for a lovely meal and a glass of wine or two. I will never flake on a dinner again.

I’ve found it really important for my wellbeing to continue wearing makeup and jewellery as it gives you a sense of normality in these unusual times and a sense of feeling good about yourself.
