However, age may simply be a number but there’s no escaping that evolution is inevitable. That is something that the Bremont ALT1-P Pilot watch appreciates. The classic timepiece has had a bit of a facelift of late in an upgrade that continues to champion the innovation and mastery of the humble mechanical wrist watch. Available in both black and blue, the timepiece remains true to its original features but with a few new features ensuring growth throughout 2017. This gent’s automatic chronometer watch has been C.O.S.C chronometer tested and features a hardened stainless steel case measuring 43 mm in diameter.

The dial, in each of the two striking colours, plays host to a date function at 4.30H along with three chronograph small counters which are housed under a domed anti-reflective and scratch resistant sapphire crystal. Fans of the blue design will find it showcases an embossed calf-skin blue leather strap which is complete with a deployment buckle and engraved security clasp whilst the black calf-skin leather strap boasts pin buckle. Both are water resistant to 10 ATM / 100 metres.

Bremont is thrilled to be strengthening its ties with rugby and to be working with International Rugby playing brothers Richie & Jonny Gray. Remarkably the Gray brothers are the 47th set of Scottish brothers to represent their country in rugby and are both tipped be in the Lion squad in 2017. With Bremont’s maxim of being ‘tested beyond endurance’ there is a natural synergy with the physical and mental endurance that these Rugby stars go through for each match.
