Twenty-five years ago Audemars Piguet decided its flagship watch, the Royal Oak, needed a bit of a reboot to appeal to a younger, more sporty watch connoisseur. The upshot was the Offshore, a muscular 42mm hunk of a watch that was nicknamed “The Beast”. Fast forward to 2018 and Audemars Piguet realised that women want something sporty too, so it has dropped the case to 37mm and added some diamonds. It’s the perfect poolside to beach bar watch, given a little extra edge thanks to the gorgeous dark-blue rubber strap and iconic steel case.

If the name doesn’t give you a clue, all you have to do is look at the diamonds joyfully skittering across the dial to realise how aptly named this collection of watches and jewellery is.
